If you’re not quite ready for the Centurion card or don’t want to pay the hefty initiation/annual fee, then American Express Platinum card is a good choice. Amex offers both a business and personal version of this card. The Platinum card offers many of the same travel benefits (companion tickets, hotel upgrades, airline lounge access, rental car upgrades) and access to a personal concierge, with out the stringent requirements and fees of a black card. I’ve had the platinum business card for about 16 months, and love it. The concierge is great for helping make reservations at restaurants for client meetings and for arranging travel.
I travel a lot so the complimentary airport lounge access is great, it helps me get a lot of work done while waiting in airports. Not to mention more comfortable.
